This year's release of Assassin's Creed Mirage is threatened, according to leakers. Now, "head leaker" Tom Henderson is speaking out and also predicts a postponement, but also a release in 2023.

Will Assassin's Creed Mirage be postponed? Tom Henderson, who we have long known as an accurate games industry insider, has commented on the release of Assassin's Creed Mirage in a tweet. According to it, the release of the open-world action game might be postponed by two months. Henderson literally stated in his post:

It seems like AC Mirage has been internally delayed from August to October. Nexus, AC's VR offering has also been delayed a couple of months.

Assassin's Creed Nexus could also be delayed

If Henderson's statements are true, this would refute previous leaks that Assassin's Creed Mirage would not be released until 2024. When asked by a Twitter user if the game would be released on October 12, Henderson was clueless via a GIF image.

The rumored Assassin's Creed Nexus, scheduled for September, would be released in November or December 2023, according to this latest leak. In the VR game, players will presumably take on the roles of Ezio, Connor, Haytham, and Cassandra, albeit only in the context of individual levels.

However, all game mechanics from the main parts will be included, including the iconic (tower) jump into a hay wagon. By the way, Henderson had already commented on this in February. He had allegedly already tried it out and spoke of a "really cool experience".
