The first patch for the open-world role-playing game Forspoken was released on January 31 of this year to fix minor bugs and issues.
Forspoken has been available since January 24, 2023. However, the first test and experience reports are mixed. On the one hand, many are bothered by the casual dialogues of the protagonist with her bracelet, and on the other hand, the game unfortunately falls quite a bit short of its possibilities. Unfortunately, the open world seems very empty to a large extent. There were also problems with the HDR mode, especially on the consoles. However, the latter has now been fixed with the latest patch 1.02. However, there have been further adjustments through the update.
Patch 1.02 introduces adjustments for HDR mode, localization and spelling fixes, as well as various smaller, non-detailed fixes. Overall, Patch 1.02 includes the following improvements:
The protagonist Frey Holland is mysteriously taken out of New York City and finds herself in a stunning land called Athia. A magical bracelet is inexplicably attached to her arm there. Frey discovers the ability to cast powerful spells and use magic. Frey names her new involuntary companion "Cuff" and sets out to find her way home.
She soon learns that the land of Athia was once ruled by benevolent matriarchs called Tantas. At that time, the land was in full splendor and bloom. But now Athia is sullied and destroyed by a devastating plague. The so-called rift turned animals into monsters, humans into cruel monsters and enchanting natural landscapes into dangerous realms. In the center of these destroyed realms, the Tantas now rule as mad and evil sorceresses. Your task as Frey is to stop the rupture and put an end to the Tantas' doings.
