The popular battle royale game Fortnite just brought a few new patches which will add more diversity to the game. Besides that, Fortnite will follow the footsteps of many other games by sending out invites for their mobile iOS version.
Fortnite on the Road
As a lot of games are developing a mobile version or are already launching on the device, Fortnite decided to do the same. If you are ready to play it on your iOS device, you can sign up for the Fortnite Invite Event for the waiting list. The mobile version gives the full battle royale experience with the same gameplay, maps and weekly updates. However, it requires an internet connection and iOS 11 on either the iPhone 6S, iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2, iPad or any of the newer devices. The first wave of invites has already been sent, but more waves are incoming.

Loot the Llama
With the v3.3 patch notes two new items got added and one got removed. The first one is the Supply Llama which is an extreme rare drop. Each match the drop place is randomly generated and there will only be three of them in total. When looting the Llama you will either get: 500 wood, stone and metal or 10 stacks of each ammo type or three traps and consumables. So, it’s surely worth to loot them when you find one. The second item is the remote explosive and they are also pretty rare. Getting the explosives requires you to loot supply Llamas, Treasure Chests, Floor Loot or Supply Drops. However, you can only have 10 of them and they are in stacks of four.
While we got two new items this patch, we will have to say farewell to the smoke grenades as they are vaulted. The reason for this is that the smoke grenade barely got used by the existing player base. Patch v3.3.1 on the other hand releases the heavy shotgun, which is different from the other shotguns as it has a bigger range allowing you to shoot players from a long distance.
From March 19th a limited time mode called Blitz will be available to play. The matches in this new mode will only be 15 minutes and everything is increased. When starting a match the storm circle is already closing in over the island and the chest and loot spawns are increased to around 85%. Besides this, the harvesting resources are doubled as well as increased health for the treasure chest and ammo box.
