The dark Elden Ring competitor Lords of the Fallen finally has a release date. In addition, new gameplay and Deluxe and Collector’s Editions have been shown.
2023 almost offers a little too much of a good thing. Besides the huge new releases like Hogwarts Legacy, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, or Diablo 4, the reboot of Lords of the Fallen, which was already released in 2014, will also be released this year.
New Trailer reveals Gameplay of Lords of the Fallen
In the new trailer, we get to see some new gameplay. Lords of the Fallen continue to present themselves with a dark and creepy look. The mood is additionally musically underlined by the mega-hit of Iron Maiden, “Fear of the Dark”. Lords of the Fallen is a reboot of the 2014 classic, but now with its storyline.
Players slip into the role of a gloomy crusader with the ominous task of bringing down the demon god Adyr. In the beginning, you can choose from nine different character classes.
Release of all Editions of Lords of the Fallen in October
However, the new trailer shows cool gameplay and finally gives a concrete release date. The dark fantasy action RPG is scheduled for release on October 13, 2023. Lords of the Fallen will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X/S.
In addition to the standard edition of the game, a Deluxe Edition with cool extras such as the digital soundtrack and an art book will also be available, as well as a Collector’s Edition with a collectible figure and steel book.
