That's going on: Four days after the launch, Amazon's MMORPG New World is still not up to the rush of gamers. That's why the developers implemented a new system that prevents players on overcrowded servers from creating new characters. In this way, "overpopulation" is to be counteracted.

According to the developers, they are currently working hard to increase the number and capacities of the game servers. The new system for temporarily blocking character creation is apparently one of the corresponding measures.
As of today, a total of 28 worlds are overloaded; on these servers, it is only possible to play with existing characters. The status of the worlds could change "from hour to hour", the team announced in the official forum.

Meanwhile, several players have already reached New Worlds maximum level - level 60. This requires an estimated 50 to 60 hours of pure playing time, not including queues.
