To participate in the Twitch Drops, you need to connect your Battle.net account to Twitch. This applies to players on both PC and consoles. It’s worth mentioning because you need to connect it even if you’ve done it in the past. The developers explicitly say so in their statement:
Regardless of whether you play on console or PC, all players must re-link their Twitch and Battle.net accounts to be eligible for Overwatch 2 Twitch Drops, even if you’ve participated in Twitch Drops in the past.
Quickly connect your account to battle.net:
- Log into your Battle Net account in the launcher.
- Click on your account in the top right corner, then click View Account.
- A web page will open (via account.battle.net) showing various tabs on the left. Click on Connections here.
- Scroll down and you’ll find the option to connect your Twitch account to Battle.net.
Here, you just log in again with your Twitch details and authorize access to the account. That’s really all there is to it. Now you just have to wait until October 7, when you can get your cosmetic items for the heroine Kiriko.
