The survival game Rust should finally celebrate its debut on the PlayStation (PS4) and Xbox One consoles in 2020. After a long break, the developer comes up with bad news.
That was the plan: After Rust was visually revised, the PS4 q and Xbox One version of the game should follow. According to the roadmap at the time, all of this was planned for 2020. As with so many games this year, this could not be met due to the ongoing corona pandemic.
However, a new date has already been set for the release of the console versions!

Rust was originally supposed to be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at the end of 2020. However, this plan has now been postponed to spring 2021.
Release on next-gen? Rumors are already saying that the postponement is also based on the fact that Rust will be released on PlayStation 5 and Series X. However, there is no official confirmation of this.
So far there should only be versions of Rust for PlayStation 4 & Xbox One. Everything else has to be revealed after the release at the beginning of 2021.
We’re not getting a console version of Rust this year, but we got a different treat. The Rust Tech Tree is currently enjoying great popularity and is only what feels like the 100th attempt by the developer Rust to balance properly.
