The interplanetary building game Surviving Mars will get new content in 2021. Also, you can currently get the game for free. You will now find out what to expect and how to do it.
What happens: In a small teaser, developer Paradox announces new content for the survival building game Surviving Mars. The new content should primarily attract beauty builders. If you don’t own the game, you can now not only test it, but get it completely free of charge.
New Content for Surviving Mars & Free Download
This is coming in 2021: The new updates for Surviving Mars are to be rolled out in the course of 2021. Here, the Schönbauer are addressed before all other groups. Because the already confirmed packages are:
- Tourism Package: Building DLC - Free
- In-Dome Building Package: Content Creator DLC – € 4.99
Tourism package
The tourism package is also intended to make Mars attractive for guests who are not planning a permanent life on the red planet. The DLC gives you the following new content:
- Ratings: Some visitors will rate their stay in your colony. Depending on how good or bad it turns out, you will get different rewards. It also affects how many new tourists will visit you.
- Hotel & Leisure: You can now build hotels that you get after researching the smart home. You also get the opportunity to build low gravity parks.
- Safari: You can create waypoints yourself to plan a safari route for tourists. You can either order the corresponding rovers on earth or have them built yourself.
The content creator DLC
Directly from the community: In a collaboration between developer Paradox and the talented modder Silva, a new DLC was designed. This unlocks 8 new buildings with which you can improve your domes:
- New habitats
- Smart Apartments (Large Habitat)
- Senior Accommodation (Medium Habitat)
- Large kindergarten (large habitat)
- New dome buildings
- Medicine post (small service building)
- Security post (small service building)
- Hospital (large service building)
- TV Studio Workshop (large service building)
- School tower (dome tower as a school)
Currently, free: You can get Surviving Mars for free until March 18, 2021. All you need is an Epic Games account. If you have one, you have to maneuver into the shop, select the game and then click on “Get”.
