In Warhammer 40,000 Darktide you won’t have all the weapons available from the start. You unlock the different types of weapons by leveling up your character. We’ll tell you when you unlock which weapon when you level up.

Here’s the deal: In Warhammer 40,000 Darktide, you can buy new weapons and talismans with your character at the merchant. You will occasionally get new weapons as a gift after a mission, but that is rather the exception. In the beginning, however, the selection of weapons in the store is limited, and you have to unlock more weapon types first. You do this simply by leveling up your character.

How to Unlock New Weapons in Warhammer 40K Darktide

You should know this: Each class can unlock a variety of weapons in Warhammer 40K Darktide, which are subsequently available for purchase in the weapon store. However, this doesn’t mean that you’ll find the weapons in the store immediately after unlocking them. The arsenal in the weapon store is random and changes regularly. So you may have to wait until a new type of weapon is available.

Tip: The fastest and easiest way to level up your character is to choose level 2 missions at the terminal, which include an additional task like finding Grimoires. If your equipment is sufficient, you can also complete level 3 missions at a higher level with ease.
