Havik is an incredibly powerful character that won't be available to you immediately at the beginning of the game. You can unlock him after completing Story Mode, and you'll definitely want to learn how to play as him by mastering the best strategies and tricks. In this guide, we're going to tell you about Havik combos and tips in Mortal Kombat 1.
Fans of the Mortal Kombat series have been waiting for the release of the new game for a long time, and now they want to master the characters, but Havik stands out among the rest with his skills and abilities. Below, we will tell you more about this character and how to play him.
Just like Mileena and Smoke, Havik has a lot of interesting and powerful attacks that you can view in the menu. Learning them is one thing, but creating powerful combos is quite another. Luckily, we have some examples of combos that you can use to overcome your opponent in a few seconds. To make navigation in our guide easier for players with different types of devices, we have created a universal button index, which we will use to explain attack combos. The picture above shows all the buttons and the names we gave them.
Combos | Description |
DB1 + J + 2 + 1 + 2 | You tear off your arm, dealing damage to the enemy and throwing them into the air, where you deal several more blows with your hands. In the end, your opponent falls in front of you. |
DB1 + J + 2 + 4 | This combination is identical to the previous one, except that in the air you finish the combination with a kick, which throws the enemy far away from you. |
DB1 + J + 1 + 2 + 3 | It's similar to the previous combinations, but now you do more kicks in the air, both with your feet and hands. |
DB1 + J + 2 + 1 + 2 + F1 + DB4 | The beginning of the combination is similar to the previous options, but now you accompany the enemy's fall with a few more blows, not letting them fall until you reach the edge of the battlefield. |
DB1 + J + 2 + 1 + 2 + F1 + exDB4 | Identical to the previous one, but with Enchance at the end, which deals additional damage. |
B2 + 2 + BF1 | You deal several blows with your hands, and at the end, you use a ranged attack close to the enemy, which summons a sphere that deals damage to the opponent. |
F4 + BF1 + BF2 | A kick in the leg, followed by a ranged attack with a sphere that throws the enemy, after which you catch them and deal additional damage by vomiting blood on their face. |
The tips for this character are basic. The main thing you need to concentrate on is staying close to the enemy. This way, you will be able to use much more powerful combos. The fact is that compared to other characters, Havik has fewer ranged and aerial attacks, which can be a problem in battle. Thus, if you want to defeat someone, try not to throw them far away and concentrate your attacks in close combat.
If you would like to keep your opponent close to you, we recommend that in critical situations you use a combo with a Painless attack (2 + 1 + 2) at the end. This way, you can throw an enemy into the air and finish the combo so that he falls right in front of you to spam him with attacks again.
