Smoke is one of the favorite characters of Mortal Kombat fans. He may not be as popular as key characters like Subzero, Scorpion, or Raiden, but he's still a great choice for many gamers. So next, in our guide, you will learn combos and tips for Smoke in Mortal Kombat 1.
Luckily, in the new part of the game, Smoke hasn't lost his skills and remains as strong and stylish as ever. Below, we have described the recommendations that you should follow in battle to win.
Just like any other character in Mortal Kombat 1, such as Havik or Mileena, Smoke has a decent amount of awesome combos. The main attacks and skills of Smoke are practically the same as those in the previous parts of the game. You can view all of them by opening the menu during or outside of combat. The main thing we want to focus on is showing you powerful combos of these attacks that can impress both you and your enemies. To achieve this, we use universal button indexing, which you can see in the screenshot above. This way, no matter what type of device you have, you'll know what to press to make the combination work. So, let's not waste time and move on to the possible options for attacks.
Combos | Description |
3 + 2 + J + 1 + 1 + 2 | You start the attack with a few kicks to the head, then use an uppercut to throw the enemy into the air, where you deal several hits with daggers, and then throw them to the ground far away from you. |
B2 + 3 + BF3 | You turn into smoke and lunge at your opponent from the air, dealing damage with your daggers, followed by a kick to the opponent's knee and a dagger uppercut, followed by a blade reversal strike that puts the enemy on the ground. |
F3 + 2 + DB2 | You kick the enemy in the knee and then slash from top to bottom with your dagger. While the enemy tries to recover, you teleport upwards diagonally above them and stab their back with your daggers, causing them to fall. |
3 + 2 + J + 2 + 1 + 1 | The combination starts with 2 kicks to the head and an uppercut that throws your opponent into the air. In the air, you throw a few more punches, eventually getting back to your feet while your opponent falls to the ground. |
3 + 2 + J + 1 + 1 + DB4 | The combo starts like the previous one, but after 2 punches in the air, you teleport behind the enemy, and without letting them fall, you make an uppercut that throws the enemy back into the air, after which. they fall |
3 + 2 + J + 3 + 4 + 4 | Another combination that starts in the same way as the previous 2, but now, while in the air, you do several spectacular kicks with a turn. |
3 + 2 + D + 3 + 2 + F1 + 2 + Grab + exDB4 + 1 + 1 + 2 | An incredibly powerful combination that starts with a few punches that throw the enemy into the air. After that, you deal with several kicks and punches to keep your opponent from falling until you use Grab to catch them and continue beating them while throwing them into the air again. You join the enemy and deal several powerful punches in the air until you eventually throw them to the ground. |
Considering how strong and fast Smoke is, your main goal is to spam the enemy. Fortunately, his skills and abilities are designed for just that, so keeps the enemy under pressure until he dies. You will have many different attacks in your arsenal, which you can turn into the above combos until you stump the enemy. In critical situations, use the skill that turns you into smoke and teleports you behind the enemy to make a counterattack.
Another good tip is to use invisibility. Yes, Smoke, like in the previous parts, has this skill, so don't neglect it. Before you can engage in combat while being invisible, you will need to learn and understand the basic mechanics of this fighting style, but over time, you will get the hang of it. Thus, by combining invisibility with powerful and long combos, you will be invincible on the battlefield.
