In Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds you’ve probably already seen some on their mount. Especially useful when you want to get from one place to another faster. We’ll tell you how to get your first mount and which ones are currently available.
How to get your first mount in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds
To get your first mount in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds, you must complete Great Uncle Autumn’s reputation quest called “Unexpected Company”. You get the quest as the story progresses, within the first hour of gameplay. If you only do the story missions at the beginning, you will get the necessary quest faster than if you play all the side missions in between.
There are already players who own their mount at level 8, while we only unlocked ours at level 15.
This is how the quest goes: If you have accepted the quest, you have to find the missing Platipaws for Great Uncle Autumn. It’s not that difficult, because it’s very close by. Once you’ve found it, you’ll discover a cat that’s being attacked by monsters. If you help her, she will follow you back to the tree and offer herself as a mount. Congratulations, you’ve unlocked your first mount!
These are all mounts in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds

How mounts work: Before we explain all the mounts in detail to you, you should know how the mounts work in Ni No Kuni. Each mount offers a combat level and 3 stats such as health points, attack power, critical hit rating and some more. Recognizable by the different icons next to the status values of the mounts.
If you own a mount, 30% of these stats are counted towards your own and if you have the mount equipped, it’s 100%. You can also upgrade the mounts for gold and other materials over time until they reach their maximum to become even more powerful.
