Overwatch 2 Hero Kiriko - All Abilities, Movement & Battle Tactics
Kiriko is one of the new heroes and is one of the healers in Overwatch 2. Thanks to her ofudas, a kind of magical healing leaves, she can provide her team with healing from long and short range and throws knives on the side that reward you for good aim. Kiriko's movement matches her appearance, as she's fast and quiet on the move and can run up walls or teleport through them.
All of Kiriko's abilities
- Primary Attack: Kiriko throws knives at her opponents, of which she has 10.
- Secondary Attack: Kiriko has 10 healing cards, 2 of which she throws at a friend each time she attacks. After 5 times of throwing, the ability must recharge briefly.
- Ability 1 Swift Step: This ability is a teleport that moves Kiriko forward a few feet or even through walls.
- Ability 2 Protection Zuzu: Kiriko throws a grenade that frees teammates from status effects and heals them at the same time.
- Ultimate "Kitsune Rush": Teammates in the area of influence get a buff to movement speed, and attack speed and gives them a cooldown reduction.
Kiriko Strengths and Weaknesses
Pros & Cons
Strengths- Mobility
- Pretty good support if you can utilize your mobility.
- Excellent damage, if you hit headshots.
Weaknesses- Healing is slow
- Needs to stay close to the team
How to play Kiriko correctly - Maximum damage & maximum healing
- Damage: To deal damage with Kiriko, you must land headshots with the kunais. Body shots, on the other hand, will only do a small amount of damage.
- Healing: Watch your positioning and movement. If you are too far away from your target that needs healing, you won't be able to heal it fast enough. This means you must always be close to your team members and make sure you can provide them with enough healing.
- Switft Step: Use the Swift Step ability to walk through walls.
- Healing Ofuda: Use Kiriko's healing preemptively on teammates so that you can ensure that healing occurs in a timely manner.
Protection Zuzu: If you miss the grenade in battle or use it too late, you will lose battles. So always use the grenade wisely.

Kiriko's Movement Explained - How to move correctly
Kiriko's Movement is very crazy and unique among all healers in Overwatch 2. Through her Swift Step ability, you can teleport a few meters and get into a good position at any time. When doing so, make sure you're not too far away from your teammates, otherwise your healing will take too long.
If you see wounded or injured teammates behind a wall, you can teleport through it using Swift Step.
