One of the current weekly missions in Overwatch 2 is the "Role Mastery" challenge, which is not clearly formulated and therefore causes some confusion. In this guide, we'll tell you how to quickly complete the "Role Mastery" challenge and what rewards await you.
Overwatch 2 has daily, weekly, and seasonal challenges and quests. While most of them are self-explanatory, there are some quests where it's not clear how to get to the completion quickly. One of these quests is O.T. Role Mastery. In the following list, you will find all the questions we answer in this guide:
Here's how to complete the Challenge: The description of the Challenge is too ambiguous for many, including us: "Win 10 matches with two different roles in Quick Search or Ranked". But what does that mean now? Basically, you just need to complete two tasks to complete Role Mastery, here's an example:
So you don't have to switch roles in the game, nor do you have to win 10 rounds in total. 20 rounds, split 50/50 between two roles, is the completion requirement for you to receive your Role Mastery reward.
How do you check your progress? In the weekly challenge menu, you can only see that you have either completed or not completed part of the quest. You can also find the exact progress of the challenge under "Battle Pass" and then "Challenges". However, you need to click on the "Lifetime" tab and then check your tank wins, DPS wins, or support wins. It's best to keep track of how many wins you have before starting the challenge.
When you have completed the Role Mastery challenge, you will earn 5,000 experience points (EXP) for the Battle Pass. If you bought it, you can unlock something new in each new level with this XP. If you don't have the Battle Pass, you will only receive a new reward every two, three, or four levels.
