In System Shock Remake, the door code for robot maintenance is no longer in its old location. This guide will tell you the new location of the code.
Where is the code for the robot maintenance door? Well, despite its high authenticity, the remake of the immersive sim System Shock does some things differently than the 1994 original. There, you could find the door code to the robot maintenance area in the southeast of Research Labs in writing on the floor.
What hasn't changed is the deck where the code is hidden. Where exactly it is now, you can find out a little further down.

On the research level (Research Labs), head to the northwest of the map. Your destination, a certain ladder, is there at the top of the lower third of the map. You can see the position in question in the screenshot below; we have marked it with a green circle.
Behind this door is the thumb drive containing the robot maintenance door code.
Arriving at the destination, you can see two bluish shimmering doors to the left and right of a larger green monitor. They lie in the shadow of the surrounding buildings. You are interested in the right door, or rather the ladder next to it.
Climb it, then turn right and go through the door there. If you now follow the path, you will reach a room where you can find a thumb drive. And hooray! It contains the code for the door to the robot maintenance.
System Shock’s remake has been available for most major platforms since May 30. In addition to the Windows PC version, versions for macOS, Linux, PlayStation 5/4, Xbox Series X/S as well as Xbox One have also been released.
Besides the copy-protected version, which can be purchased via Steam, there is also a DRM-free version available on GOG. It can be installed via GOG Galaxy as well as via offline installer packages.
