All Dead Drops on Bright Sands in The Cycle

There are eight Dead Drops scattered all over the Bright Sands map. In them, you must regularly deposit items for the factions. Here you can find a breakdown and the locations of the individual Dead Drops.

Skeleton in Swamp Camp

The first Dead Drop you have to visit through quests is the one in the Swamp Camp under the big skeleton in the south.

The Dead Drop in the swamp camp is under a huge skeleton in the southwest.

Here's a guide to the best way to get to the dead drop:

• Go to the southwest to the large skeleton.
• In the middle part of the skeleton there is a large root in the water.
• Climb onto the root or crawl under it.
• You are already standing in front of the Dead Drop.

The Waterfall Lab

High in the north, next to idyllic waterfalls, there is a large laboratory. In it, a Dead Drop is also hidden under one of the desks.

The Dead Drop is centrally located in the Waterfall Lab.

Follow these simple steps to find the secret hiding place in the Waterfall Lab:

• Enter the lab through one of the many entrances.
• Centrally located in the middle part of the lab is a desk.
• Hidden underneath it is the Dead Drop.

The Deep Underground Elevator

The Dead Drop at the East Collection Point has a special feature. It is underground, and you can only reach it through a tunnel. In this tunnel, you will find the Dead Drop between the East Collection Point and the East Caverns.

To reach the box, you just need to follow these steps:

• Enter the building of the East Collection Point through the southern entrance.
• Follow the tunnel past the first big wagon.
• At the end of the tunnel, enter the room with the rear wagon.
• On top of the wagon lies the Dead Drop.

Dead Drops in the Basecamp

Central on the map of Bright Sands is the Base Camp. This is a large facility, which is located on a mountain and has a landing platform for the Evacuation Ship in the middle. Here you will directly find three different Dead Drops.

Gate A: The first Dead Drop at the Base Camp is located right at the western entrance. It is the easiest hiding place to find at Base Camp.

You will find the Dead Drop in front of the western entrance of the Base Camp.

You can get to the hideout at Gate A by:

• Approaching the Base Camp from the west.
• There is a large entrance called Gate A.
• Just before the entrance, the Dead Drop is hidden in the grass on the left.

Gate C: The second Dead Drop is also located near an entrance. However, you have to enter it from the northeast.

The Dead Drop is located in the east entrance area.

With these steps, you will find the secret Dead Drop:

• Enter the Base Camp from the northeast.
• In the entrance area you will find a large round door.
• Open it and go through it into the room with the bridge.
• Go over the bridge.
• The Dead Drop is hidden behind a container.

Main Office: The Main Office, unlike Gate A and C, is centrally located in the Base Camp. The Dead Drop is located on the top floor of the facility.

On the upper floor of the Base Camp, you will find this Dead Drop.

Here's a little guide on how to quickly find the Dead Drop:

• The starting point is the landing platform in the middle of the Base Camp.
• Be careful: There might be strong creatures here!
• Go from the landing platform to the southwest.
• There you will find a staircase that leads to a room on the top floor.
• In the room, you have to keep to the right twice.
• Just around the corner you will find a shelf in a dark corner where the Dead Drop is hidden.

Dead Drops at the Communication Tower

In addition to the Base Camp, Bright Sands also has the Communications Case to the west, where you can find several Dead Drops. One is located directly at the Communication Tower and a second one in front of a Satellite Dish.

Comms Tower: The first Dead Drop is located directly on the Comms Tower, a building that rises into the sky in the western Communications Base.

The Comms Tower is located to the west of Bright Sands.

Follow these steps to get to the hiding place:

• Find the large Communication Tower.
• At the bottom of the tower, on the ground platform, the Dead Drop is hidden.
• Tip: Walk around the tower once if you can't find the hiding place directly.

Satellite Dish: The last Dead Drop is in front of a Satellite Dish in the Communications Base to the west.

The Dead Drop is located in front of a satellite dish.

This is how you find the hideout:

• Enter the Communication Base at the eastern entrance.
• Be careful: there might be strong creatures here!
• If you follow the fence on the left edge, you will quickly find the Satellite Dish.
• Directly opposite, large pipes run along the ground.
• Behind the pipes lies the Dead Drop in the grass.

Guided Beginner's tip: If you upgrade your Safe Pockets in a timely manner, you can always stash one or two items in them to place in Dead Drops. For rare items, this prevents you from losing your valuable items when you die, so whenever you're near a Dead Drop, you can drop your items and comfortably complete the quests along the way.
