In Warhammer 40,000 Darktide you have the possibility to buy cosmetic items with the premium currency Aquilas and we will show you how to get Aquilas in-game.

What it’s about: Aquilas is a premium currency in the co-op shooter Darktide. You can buy it with real money. But if you don’t want to do that, or if it’s just too expensive for you, we’ll show you in this guide how you can get Aquilas without using real money on a regular basis.

How to Get Aquilas in Warhammer 40k: Darktide

You need Aquilas in the game mainly to buy cosmetic items. Unfortunately, you can only get Aquilas by purchasing them in the ingame shop with real money. Additionally, we’ll show you a middle way, where you’ll get at least a starting capital in a Special Edition.

Aquilas in the Imperial Edition of Warhammer 40k: Darktide

There is also another way to get Aquilas right at the beginning of the game. If you buy the Imperial Edition of Warhammer 40k: Darktide, you will receive 2,500 Aquilas in addition to unique cosmetic items for all classes.

These are the benefits of the Imperial Edition.

There is also another way to get Aquilas right at the beginning of the game. If you purchase the Imperial Edition of Warhammer 40k: Darktide, you’ll receive unique cosmetic items for all of your characters, as well as the following:

  • Loyalist Pack: with these 4 unique class outfits, 8 weapon skin patterns, a set of headgear, as well as an Ogryn body tattoo, you’ll be able to eliminate heresy in style.
  • Mortis Veteran Portrait Frame: A cosmetic portrait frame used to pay tribute to the fallen defenders of Macropolis Tertium.
  • Caducades Backpack: A backpack for human characters. This backpack, looted from the fallen troops of Cadia, was repurposed to serve those who are still alive and fighting.
  • 2.500 Aquilas

Tip: If you decide to buy the Imperial Edition and start afresh in Darktide, we have already compiled a list of all classes and their strengths and weaknesses. We’ve also explained the weapon system in more detail. With this, you’ll be perfectly prepared for your start in Darktide.
