A few steps are necessary to solve the magnetic puzzle around the exhibition mirror in Atomic Heart. It is one of the most difficult puzzles in the game and requires a bit of patience.
Even though you'll mainly reach your goal by force in Atomic Heart, you'll also get to places in the game where only your brain will get you further. On the exhibition grounds, for example, or in front of its entrance, you'll have to solve a magnetic puzzle to align the blocked mirror correctly and enter the exhibition area. We'll show you how to do that in our guide.
The mirror to the left of the entrance to the exhibition area needs to be fixed. To do this, you have to solve some magnetic puzzles in the area under the mirror. Move the left monument back to reveal the hole underneath and go down. Keep running until you come to a room with numerous magnets hanging from the ceiling. Just look up and use your glove to reverse the magnets. This will shift the platforms in the room, and you can climb to the entrance of the next room.
The next room is similar. Reverse the magnets on the ceiling and jump to the platform in the middle of the room. Reverse the magnets again and go to the next room, where two enemies are waiting. Take out the two enemies and pick the lock on the right door.
On the floor, a small lamp puzzle is waiting to be solved. First, turn the lower left circle and then the upper left circle. Once you have done that, a gate will open to your left into the next room.
You first have to jump onto the blue platform to your right and then onto the red platform to your left in the middle of the room. Here, you reverse the magnets on the ceiling and jump further to the blue platform on your left. Reverse the magnets again so that another lamp puzzle appears before you. This time, start with the upper right circle and finish the puzzle with the lower right circle.
Now jump back to the red platform in the middle of the room and reverse the magnets. Next, jump onto the blue platform between the two steel walls before you. Reverse the magnets again and drop onto the red platform to jump to the room's exit.
In the next room, reverse the magnets on the right ceiling and jump to the blue platform. Reverse the magnets directly above you and jump to the metal platform in the middle of the room. Reverse the magnets on your right again and jump over several platforms to an extended blue platform to reverse the magnets directly above you. Now you can jump to the platform above you and head for the exit. You will come to a passage where a third lamp puzzle is waiting.
First, turn the rightmost circle in the upper row and then the second circle from the right. Finish the puzzle by turning the second circle from the left in the lower row. A door will open, taking you to the last large magnetic room.
First, jump down to the floor and reverse the magnets. Go to the blue platform on the right wall and reverse the magnets again. Jump onto the metal platform and reverse the magnets. Turn around and jump onto the next blue platform. Reverse the magnets again and jump onto the red platform behind the wall. After reversing the magnets, you can drop onto a platform before you. Reverse the magnets and leave the room by jumping through the door on your left.
Here the last lamp puzzle is waiting on the floor. Turn the second circle from the right in the upper row to solve the puzzle in one go. Run through the door to your right into the red glowing room and use the mirror to go back up to the surface. You have solved the magnetic puzzle.
