Disney Dreamlight Valley: Beast's “A Gift in Crimson” Quest

As the last friendship quest, you have to complete “A Gift in Crimson” for the Beast in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This guide shows you how to overcome all the associated obstacles.

This is what the quest is about: In “A Gift in Crimson” you have to help the Beast grow roses. To do this, you'll have to build him a greenhouse, which you'll be able to expand after completing the quest. We've become a rose grower for you ourselves, and in this guide we'll show you how to complete the final mission for the Beast.

A Gift in Crimson in Disney Dreamlight Valley

First, make sure that your friendship level with the Beast is level ten, and then you're ready to go. This quest barely took us any time at all, as the scope is very small. Talk to the Beast to start the quest and you'll learn that the friendly monster wants to grow roses in the valley. For this, however, it needs a greenhouse.

Flower stands do not turn out to be particularly large at first in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Your task now is to produce the following materials to build it:

• 20x Glass
• 10x Dry Wood
• 5x Gold ingots
• 5x Crystal
• 30x Earth
• 1x base of a greenhouse (you get it from the beast)

Once you have everything together, you can make the greenhouse at any workbench in the valley under the “Furniture” tab, which you then need to place in a suitable spot.

Procure Roses for the Greenhouse

The next step is to fill the newly created greenhouse. Talk to the Beast and then go to the realm of Beauty and the Beast. There you have to get a total of twelve roses from the middle of the garden. However, the noble flowers have dried up. Use your watering can to make them bloom again and bring them to the Beast.

To complete “A Gift in Crimson,” the last step is to give three of the twelve roses to the following valley inhabitants:

• WALL-E
• Mirabel
• Mother Grothel

Return to the Beast and accompany him to Belle, who will receive the last rose from him. Speak one last time to the lovable beast, and the quest is complete.

How to Expand Your Greenhouse

Once you have completed the quest, you can continue to expand your greenhouse so that you can grow flowers even faster in the future.

Thank you, Beast! After completing "A Gift of Purple" Red Roses can be placed in flower stands.

For the expansion, you have to ask the old miser Scrooge McDuck for help. Place the triangular construction sign next to your greenhouse and the duck won't be long in coming. Now you can improve your greenhouse level by level for (what we consider) quite a lavish amount of money:

• 1st level after building: Maximum number of flowers 4, every 30 minutes a new flower.
• 2nd level for 10,000 gold: Maximum number of flowers 6, a new flower every 20 minutes.
• 3rd level for 20,000 gold: Maximum number of flowers 8, a new flower every 14 minutes.
• 4th level for 30,000 gold: Maximum number of flowers 10, a new flower every 12 minutes.
• 5th level for 40,000 gold: Maximum number of flowers 12, a new flower every 10 minutes.
• 6th level for 50,000 gold: Maximum number of flowers 14, a new flower every 8.5 minutes.
• 7th level for 60,000 gold: Maximum number of flowers 16, a new flower every 7.5 minutes.
• 8th level for 70,000 gold: Maximum number of flowers 18, a new flower every 6.5 minutes.
• 9th level for 80,000 gold: Maximum number of flowers 20, a new flower every 6 minutes.

Remember to harvest your flowers regularly. When the greenhouse is full, new flowers will only grow after you have brought the existing ones into your inventory.
