As soon as you have brought Nala to your village in Disney Dreamlight Valley and reached friendship level 2 with her, you can play her first quest “Staking Your Territory”. Our guide will show you how to get through the quest with confidence and ultimately complete it successfully.
This is what Nala's first quest is about: Nala has looked around the village and discovered that there are no suitable hunting grounds for lions there. To make the village more lion-friendly, she asks for your help.
Once you've reached friendship level 2 with Nala, all you have to do is talk to her to start her first quest. Nala wants a place where a lion can rest well, like a rock. Go to Scrooge McDuck and order Scar's lounging rock, which you will then have to place on the dazzling Beach. You can get Scar's lounging rock for 4,600 coins. Additionally, you need to place seven pieces of landscaping furniture. If you don't know what this is, open your building menu and select Nala's Quest at the top. A new menu will open, from which you can then choose what you want to place on the beach. Once you have placed the things, talk to Nala one more time.
She wants to teach you how to jump at prey, but for that, you have to dress rustic first. Open your inventory and select your wardrobe by clicking on Nala and picking what you want to wear from the clothes displayed below. Additionally, you'll have to make a mustache to replace your missing whiskers. Then talk to Nala again and practice jumping on prey with her.
The jumping-on training didn't go as Nala expected, as there are no prey animals in the Dreamlight Valley. Nala is desperate as she doesn't know what she can eat now, whereupon you suggest she feed on fish. But since she can't catch fish, you decide to show her, whereupon you have to catch the following fish to show her how easy it is to catch.
Once you have caught all the fish, you have to prepare a fish dish of your choice for Nala and bring it to her to eat. With one last conversation, you have already mastered the quest.
