As in many other games, the weight of your gear in Dragon's Dogma 2 affects your weight capacity and therefore your movement speed. This guide shows you how you can increase your weight capacity.
Highlights:
During character creation, you can maximize your carrying capacity by moving all sliders to the right.
Level-ups and Golden Trove Beetles increase your maximum carrying capacity.
Your status in Dragon's Dogma 2 changes depending on how much equipment you are carrying. The game distinguishes between six different states about your weight capacity:
While you have a high movement speed with a status of “Very light” and hardly use any stamina while sprinting, the last is no longer possible at all in an overloaded state, just like jumping.
So, as always, it is important to find the right balance and increase your weight capacity to progress quickly enough.
