With the last major update of Disney Dreamlight Valley, the blue potato came into play alongside the orange one. Like all the other potatoes, it leads you to a reward as part of its quest, whose purpose is not yet known.

In this guide, you will learn:

  • How to get the blue potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
  • How to brew the Brilliant Blue Potion.

Two new potatoes have been introduced to Disney Dreamlight Valley in one update for the first time. In this guide, we'll explain how to get the blue potato and what you need to do with it to complete the associated quest. To be honest, we had big problems ourselves to solve the quest without searching for help and tips on YouTube.

How to get the Blue Potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You can get the blue potato from Ursula. Just go to the Dazzle Beach and visit her in her home. There you can simply pick up the blue tuber from the ground without having to complete any other tasks.

Solve the Mystery of the Blue Potato

To solve the mystery of the blue potato in Disney's Dreamlight Valley, you'll need to find four other blue items besides the tuber. We'll show you which items they are and where you can get them.

The first thing you need to do is travel to Vaiana's realm. Turn around at the starting point, walk a few steps straight ahead, and look to the right across the sea. There you will see a second small island with a pointed mountain. That's where you have to go. The good news is that you can just walk across the water.

The bad news is that the way is blocked by invisible walls in the form of a labyrinth. Just run towards the island and try all directions as soon as you come across such a barrier. On the island's far side lies a beach where you can collect a blue shell and your first item with it.

Continue to the Dazzle Beach and there onto the raft that will take you to another small island. Again, you have to find your way across the water and through invisible walls to get the blue starfish at a small bay.

The third blue item is hidden in the mystical cave on the Dazzle Beach, which we also came to for the Golden Potato quest. Head down to the three glowing shrines. Across from them is a small pool where the blue book lies.

The last item is hidden in the Vitalys Mines. Keep to the right in the mines and follow the railroad into the passage. Before you reach the purple glowing mushrooms, you have to turn left into a passage that leads you into a large room. Be careful: Right at the beginning of the room, the tracks are destroyed. Look to the left at the entrance of the room and you will see the blue gem.

To complete the quest for the blue potato, you need to stay in the Vitalys Mines. Run back into the original passage and past the purple mushrooms. Take the first turn right until you come to a small pool that you can interact with.

Put all five blue items in this pool, and you will get the Brilliant Blue Potion as a reward.
