As soon as you start playing some gacha game, you probably wonder how to reroll and if it is worth doing so. And with Honkai Star Rail, it is the same. To be honest, this is an ambiguous question, and you may not be completely sure even after reading the article. But still, we will do our best to help you.
After all, everyone would like to have an infinite number of attempts to get a cool 5-star character. But what are the cons of rerolling in Honkai Star Rail? Let’s discuss it below.
Honkai Star Rail Reroll Guide
Let me start by saying that there is no guest mode in Honkai Star Rail. This means that for each reroll, you need to create a new account, and therefore create a new email address. Currently, this is the only way to reroll. And before the reroll, you’ll have to play a 30-40 minute campaign where you can’t skip any dialogs and have to click sometimes, so even if you reroll from multiple accounts using emulators, it will still take you a lot of time.
It is likely that you will spend several days to get a 5-star character because the chances of getting it are very low, namely 0.3%/0.6%.
To be more specific, before you open Warping (which is what the gacha is called in this game), you will have an exciting 30 minutes of familiarization with the characters, their roles, combat mechanics, and everything else in this game. You will need to wait until each character starts talking, and then click to stop it and move on to the next character. Also, most of the tutorial is focused on learning how to fight, so don’t forget to use your Adventure Logs to make it easier for you to kill monsters.

After completing the tutorial, you will unlock Warping and get 20 Star Rail Passes, but they cannot be used for Rate-Up banners, so you must pull from Departure Warp (beginner banner) or Stellar Warp (regular banner). You can also reach Trailblaze level 5 and get 10 Star Rail Passes. Or you can spend another 2-3 hours and reach TL level 15. This will allow you to get a guaranteed 5 star character from the Departure Warp. As a result, we have the following:
- 30-40 minutes (20 pulls)
- 50-60 minutes (30 pulls)
- 120-150 minutes (40 and 50 pulls)
Is it Worth to Reroll in Honkai Star Rail?
We can conclude that it’s not worth it and that it’s better to play for fun. And if you still decide to do it, we must remind you of the chances of getting 5 stars (0.3%-0.6%) and that luck may not be on your side, and you may not get the hero you want.
