In Nightingale, you have Infusions, Charms, and Enchantments to improve your equipment, but it's easy to get confused about their buffs. The game gives you a few hints on this, so we're going to have a look at Enchantments and explain how they work.
Contents of the Guide: In this guide, you will learn how Enchantments work in Nightingale.
One of many Charms available in the game.
Enchantments can be applied to a weapon or tool to allow you to cast spells with it. Charms give a variety of buffs similar to those of Minor Cards, but you can apply them to armor and umbrellas. Meanwhile, Infusions simply give stats to an item and can be applied to any equipment.
If you want to increase your gear score, use Infusions and Enchantments because when you add them to your equipment, the item level increases. Each item has a certain number of slots for Infusions, Charms, and Enchantments. When you upgrade an item, the number of slots will increase, as you can see below:
As you can see, you can always add only one Charm, but the number of slots for Enchantments and Infusions increases, so you can get additional stats, spells, and gear score.
