In the new Cozy Sandbox MMO Palia, there are sometimes puzzles to solve, as in the "Ancient Battery" quest from Jina, a resident of Palia, who welcomed you to Palia at the beginning of the game.
What it's about: In Palia, you'll meet many different characters with whom you can befriend, but also form a romantic relationship. Besides a main quest, there are also character quests that help you to get closer to the individual NPCs. This guide is about the "Ancient Battery" quest, as well as the riddles it contains that you have to solve.

You will receive a battery from Jina that will allow you to open the door to a chamber in the ruins. This door is located in the ruins where you arrived in Palia and is marked on the map for you with a yellow flag.
We have also marked the location of the shrine on our map:
Here you will find the locked door, which you can open with the battery.
Interact with the door to use the battery to open it. In the chamber beyond, there are pools of water with waterfalls to the left and right sides of the path, which you walk past. Further back in the chamber is a bowl that you can inspect, which will give you the following information:

If you continue your way and got to the door, it will give you the riddle of how to open it:
Knowledge grows the mind even in times of strive. To enter here, you must supply that which grows life.
The puzzle is then solved quite easily: Take your watering can and fill water into the bowl with it until the bar is completely filled with blue which leads to the door to open. If your watering can is unfilled, you can fill it up at the water points on the left and ride side of the chamber.

After the door opens, Jina and Hekla appear, and you talk to them. Jina then gives you the task to see what is hidden behind the door, which you then do and report to her afterwards. You will then receive the next quest, which builds on this one and gets you a glider.
