In the survival game Smalland you have to fight for survival as a tiny fairy of a fairy tribe. Fibers, wood, and resin play a very important role, especially at the beginning of the game. Our guide shows you how to farm these raw materials.
What this guide is about: To Survive in the so-called overland, you not only have to collect food and fight against nasty insects, but also produce weapons and build a base. For this, you need fibers, wood, and resin, especially in the beginning.

Already in the cave, where you spawn at the beginning of the game, you can collect fibers, wood, and resin. By collecting resources, you unlock new craftable items.
You can get fibers from small plants that you can farm without tools. To do this, walk to one of the small grasses and press [F]. The small plant will turn into two packets, which you have to aim at so that you can pick them up with [F]. Note: If you collect fibers from a hill, the packets will slide down the hill. So you better be quick when picking them up.
You will also discover wood pretty quickly within the cave you spawned in. You can recognize the wood by the fact that it looks like a branching of several small twigs. Like the fibers before, you can farm wood without tools by approaching it and pressing [F]. Small piles of wood will emerge from the branches, which you can also collect by aiming at them and pressing [F].

You can find resin on tree barks in caves or out in the overland. To farm resin, you simply have to approach it and press the [F] key, whereupon small resin balls fall down, or stick briefly underneath. By aiming and pressing the [F] key, you can then pick up these balls. Attention: It is possible that the resin balls roll away on the mountain or fall down from further up the tree.
