The new Sons of The Forest Update 6 is out and brings stones as building material for houses and walls. Since you'd surely like to be the lord of a castle before Guédelon (via wikipedia) is completed in real time, we have a trick that will allow you to get an infinite amount of stones.

Does it still work? With the start of Update 6 and at the current time on May 29, 2023, the trick below still works! You only need a single stone in advance. With that, we'll show you how to get infinite stones in Sons of The Forest.

Get an infinite amount of stones in Sons of The Forest with this trick

You can start your digital quarry with just a few resources. All you need is an axe, a tree trunk and a single loose stone. But be careful, because you need the new angular stones and not the old round stones. However, you will find the new type of stone lying around in the game world as usual.

  • 1x stone (new)
  • 1x tree trunk (or more)
  • 1x axe

Here you can see the difference between the two types of stone.

Prepare everything: Cut down a tree with your axe and collect at least one log. You can also collect several trunks and then line them up. Then chop the trunks at about one-third of the height. You can use the remains elsewhere or throw them away. Now we start with the infinite stone trick:

  • Select the stone from your inventory.
  • Go to one of the chopped tree trunks and place the stone on it.
  • A high column will be created here, don't chop it down!
  • Chop one of the stones from the top of the tower with your axe.
  • Then dismantle the stone column with the interaction button.
  • This will give you 4x stone.

By cutting the first stone with your axe, you get a total of 5x stones with this trick. As mentioned at the beginning, you can repeat this trick as often as you like and with as many columns as you like. The more you put up, the more you get accordingly when you take down!
