Bethesda's latest creation, Starfield, offers a vast universe, which includes a wide array of possible gear such as legendary weapons and armor. This guide reveals how to quickly acquire legendary items.

Starfield: How To Get Legendary Items

The loot mechanics in Starfield work like in almost all other games. The stronger your enemies are and the higher the difficulty level you play on, the better the items these enemies drop. The same goes for items from chests.

So, the chance of getting a legendary item is much higher if you defeat appropriately strong enemies. However, you can easily get the loot from this difficulty without having to play it directly.

To do this, follow these steps:

• Find an area that has a station or something similar, where there are as many enemies as possible.
• Set the difficulty level as high as possible and save your score.
• Enter the selected shipyard or space station and change the difficulty level back to easy.

By entering the station at a time when the highest difficulty level was still saved, it was loaded with the corresponding loot. The change to a low difficulty level then only affects the strength of the enemies, but not their dropped loot.
