This Corrosion is a short mission that is literally needed for you to craft an iconic weapon or cyberware. To help you out, we have prepared a guide to completing the This Corrosion quest in Cyberpunk 2077.
After completing the Somewhat Damaged mission, which was quite intense and even frightening at times, we received a message from an unknown sender. It offered us to repair the chipset in exchange for transferring data from the device. This would allow us to craft an iconic weapon, so of course, we agreed.
You need to meet a netrunner who will repair the component you stole during the previous mission. All you need to do is follow the marker to meet her. This place is located near the Kabuki Market travel point.
You will come to Yoko's shop, but not for shopping this time. Ask her if she will help you with the behavioral circuit. She will, and she has already been paid for it. Just wait until everything is ready and Yoko will give the component back to you.
The last thing you have to do is craft the Militech Canto MK.6 cyberware or the Erebus iconic weapon. The blueprints for these can be found during the Somewhat Damaged mission. You can make a save to try them both out. Once you have made your choice, the mission is complete.

Tip: I tried both, and I recommend picking the one that suits your build more. For example, we chose the Canto. Although it has some drawbacks, it is a good choice for our Netrunner build. It would also be great for a hybrid build. If Netrunner is not for you, then definitely take Erebus. As an iconic weapon, it's pretty mediocre, but overall, it's not bad and you might like it. The main thing is that both Erebus and Canto can talk, and that's very cool.
As you can see, This Corrosion is just the logical conclusion of the Somewhat Damaged mission. It is in this mission that you will find the blueprints and the behavioral system components that you will need for crafting.
