In Type Soul, titles are a useful thing that was once removed from the game, but was added back on Halloween eve 2024. Titles not only make you stand out from the crowd but also provide exclusive rewards and buffs that will definitely come in handy and worth your efforts. We've already managed to get our first title and understood how this system works, so we want to share it with you.

How To Get Titles in Type Soul

Titles in Type Soul are specific types of in-game achievements that you can get by completing certain tasks or challenges. These titles not only reflect your achievements but also come with various rewards, such as powerful weapons or stat buffs.

The first step to get access to obtaining titles is to find and interact with SetroBoomin, an NPC located at the top of Karakura Town. To make it easier to find him, we recommend displaying the names of all NPCs by clicking on the comma (“,”) button. This way you can easily see in which direction to move and get to it quickly.

After you locate the SetroBoomin NPC, don't be too excited, as he will request that you solve a riddle before you can access the titles. To solve the riddle, you'll need to interact with SetroBoomin with The Seventh's Thunder in your inventory. This is a very rare and powerful weapon that you can only get in two ways:

• Trading with other players.
• Defeat the raid boss Setro Sozosei.

After solving the puzzle, you will unlock the ability to get certain titles, such as Captain, Espada, and Sternritter. To get these and other titles, in most cases, all you need to do is complete quests, kill other players, and constantly grind. Thus, you can compete for any title, but you will need to fulfill all the requirements to get it. 

For the titles you receive, you will also obtain rewards, as mentioned above, some of them even offer weapons. It's worth noting that most of the titles you can get will only give you certain stat buffs, but here are a few that offer cool items:

• 4th Division Captain - Minazuki.
• 11th Division Captain - Nozarashi.
• One Stern Kills - Bach Weapon.
• Espada #1 - Split Skies.

Whether it's worth your time is up to you, but if you are an active player, we would definitely recommend trying to get at least one title, as it will greatly simplify the gameplay and help you.
