While we still have to wait for an exact release date of ARK 2, there are already hints of which creatures/ dinosaurs will appear in the survival MMO. We took a closer look at all the trailers and info and tell you which dinosaurs are surely coming to ARK 2.
What is going on: If you take a closer look at the trailers for ARK 2, you’ll see several small or even obvious hints about which creatures/ dinosaurs we can expect from Wildcards’ previous game ARK: Survival Evolved. We have listed them below.

These Dinos are Presented in Action in the Trailer for ARK 2.
Let’s start with the dinosaurs that were allowed to show themselves in full glory in the trailer before we get to those that only had the chance to show themselves passively.
- T-Rex
- Dodo
- Raptor
- Pteranodon
- Brontosaurus
T-Rex: In the ARK 2 trailers and on the official promo photos, the big and probably also one of the most famous dinos of all, shows up very often; the T-Rex. On the one hand, you see it tamed by protagonist Santiago, as he rides it with his daughter, on the other hand, you see the T-Rex as a wild dinosaur on the hunt for its food.
Dodo & Raptor: In one of the ARK 2 promo trailers, you can see the Dodo trying to pull a skeleton’s arm, after which two raptors disturb it.
Pteranodon & Brontosaurus: As Santiago leaves the cave in the trailer with his daughter, he sees three Pteranodons: Two flies right off, and some brontosaurs are seen in the distance.

Not every dinosaur could show itself in full glory in the trailer. Some of them were only shown as cave paintings that Santiago and his daughter discover in the cave. We were able to spot the following dinosaurs painted on the cave walls:
