Much like Patch 254, players are going to need to start defeating ARK bosses and collecting Element for Tek knowledge. With Patch 255 comes brand new Tek structures and upgrade options for your bases. Craft Sci-Fi style doors and walls, as well as a super cool Tek Forcefield to place over your fortress. This adjustable dome, powered by Element, will help keep you and your friends safe from raiding parties and hungry dinos.

Two brand new sea creatures to ruin your day. An Ammonites' large, but valuable, shell makes them particularly difficult to kill. It's bile defence mechanism can also be used to concoct a variety of poison antidotes.
Electrophorus looks a bit like a giant electric eel. They group up and use electrical energy to zap their prey. Why not try taming some to help you fight larger sea creatures. Just don't get too close, unless you want to end up a little cooked.
Half bird, half reptile, Microraptor is an aggressive little creature who cannot fly but instead glides from tree to tree. When tamed and trained, this little feathered menace can knock enemy riders off their mounts mid battle.

A powerful, tree-hugging predator. Thylacoleo is indigenous to the redwood forests of the ARK. With a strong bite and a formidable pounce, this marsupial lion is perfect for an ambush.
