The upcoming update 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 is still a long time coming. But now we know what it will contain. A release date is still missing due to hacker attacks.
This is in the patch: Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.2 includes changes to the reaction of the police units and the pedestrian and vehicle controls. Annoying bugs and poor performance on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are also to be fixed.

Police react later: Many players complained that the NCPD police unit was reacting too quickly. In addition, the officials are said to be on site too quickly for it to be realistically explainable. Surely you know the videos in which an infinite number of NCPD officers spawn on roofs.
With the new update 1.2 all this should be fixed. The NCPD will therefore take a while to get to the crime scene. This will give you some time to escape.
Control is improved: For a long time you couldn't adjust how sensitive the control of a vehicle is. So far, the values have been specified by the vehicles themselves. In the Cyberpunk 2077 menu, however, you will soon be able to set this using a slider.
In addition, vehicles should be less likely to get stuck on obstacles in the game world. If they do that, you can free them more easily from patch 1.2 onwards. This will work a bit like GTA 5. Here you can rock your car so it hits the ground again.
But the movement on foot is also adapted. The criticism of many gamers primarily related to the double key assignment. Many died because they involuntarily pressed "W" twice and thus executed a Dash into their death.
Thanks to Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.2, you can decide for yourself in the future whether this should be activated or deactivated. New buttons can also be added as dash buttons.
The elephant in the room: By now it should be clear to everyone that the Cyberpunk versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are not particularly successful. Problems with AI and performance completely ruined the Night City experience.
Although it is not explicitly mentioned in the current report from CD Projekt Red, we do know that the optimization focus is on the performance of the last-gen consoles. If you have problems with the performance on your PC, you should take a look at our Performance Guide!
Is that enough? Originally, several large patches for Cyberpunk 2077 should be released by the end of February 2021, which should give the role-playing game the final touch. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to see or confirm this. The upcoming update 1.2 does not seem to completely iron out the balance.
But if you played Cyberpunk 2077 when it was released and put it away in frustration, you can take another look.
My personal opinion about all the updates in the game that there is some improvement in the game with every update but as a player I obviously wanted more from a gaming company like CDPR, especially after all the hype about the game and when you have played a game like The Witcher 3 from the same Company, you are bound to be disappointed after getting a game with so many bugs and glitches. There is a definite improvement in the game since its release in about five months back but there is still a long way to go for CDPR to make it a perfect game. Wishing them all the best with their efforts.
