DayZ Namalsk was released yesterday (3rd Dec.). After a short time, some players want to have discovered a certain creepy figure! But does the Bloodsucker even exist in DayZ Namalsk? We clear up the myth.
Who is the Bloodsucker? In Arma 2: DayZ Namalsk and Namalsk: Crisis there was an alien creature that showed players true fear! The Bloodsucker, who regularly showed up and triggered electromagnetic storms, was one of the toughest opponents in DayZ history - Dr. Ivan from Origins is nothing against him.

What you need to know: DayZ Namalsk started yesterday, players have also experienced the storms mentioned above. However, in the latest version of Namalsk, these are very rare. Also, creepy noises can be heard in facility A2.
So far so clear, the Bloodsucker has to exist and just wait for the right moment to strike! Yes, unfortunately not quite.
The Bloodsucker does not really exist in DayZ Namalsk right now. A Few years ago we already reported that this would be the case. One reason for this is the model of the Bloodsucker. It originally belongs to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series and was only "borrowed" for the Namalsk Mod.
Although there are indications of its existence, you will not see the Bloodsucker for the time being. You can find out exactly why this is in our interview with lead developer Adam Francu next Friday (December 11, 2020).
