During the Summer Game Fest, developer HoYoverse provided an answer to the global anticipation regarding the release of the PlayStation 5 version of the anime RPG Honkai: Star Rail. Furthermore, they unveiled a new character in the latest trailer.
Here's what's going on: Honkai Star Rail, the anime scifi RPG from the creators of Genshin Impact, was released on April 26th, 2023, for the PC and mobile, and so far, PlayStation players have had to wait patiently. Now, developer HoYoverse has taken advantage of Summer Game Fest to present a new trailer that not only shows a new character but also reveals the PS5 release date.
The new trailer, which already shows how Honkai: Star Rail will progress soon, confirms that a PlayStation 5 version is actively developing. And even though no exact release date is known, it is at least planned for the 4th quarter of 2023. So towards the end of the year, PS5 players will also be able to jump into the Trailblazer and explore the world of Honkai: Star Rail.

In the trailer, we are also introduced to a new character, Luka. A fearless fighter from the underworld equipped with a mechanical arm, he embodies not only optimism and a carefree spirit but also an impressive range of skills and talents.
