The horror adventure game Little Nightmares was released on April 28th to exceptional feedback from the gaming community. So, it’s no surprise that the developers Tarsier Studios want to keep the hype going.
Who’s the Boy?
The recent accolades trailer hinted at future downloadable content. We see Little Nightmares protagonist Six staring through an eye shaped crevice at a young boy in a raincoat. It appears he is getting ready to platform across the water, much like little Six does throughout the game.
If the ending of this trailer is in fact a confirmation for more content, it remains unknown if we will play solely as this young unnamed boy or if he will tag alongside Six. Perhaps we’ll play as both characters interchangeably, progressing Six’ storyline further while introducing new challenges and maybe even friendship. Of course, this is only speculation and nothing has been confirmed by the developers nor publisher Bandai Namco.
For the time being, we can only wait and hope that this mystery will be solved soon. Since Little Nightmares is still a fairly new game on the market, it could be a while before we get any updates.
