So far not much information got revealed for the upcoming game Overkill's The Walking Dead until now, as the first playable character got announced with his own trailer. But who is he? And what does the trailer really shows us? We took a look at it to see if we could answer these questions.
First, the game is a four-player co-op multiplayer FPS game, which takes place in Washington D.C. when an outbreak brings dying people back to life. It's the job of the players to finish a variety of missions to secure supplies and survivors, to strengthen their base.
The trailer shows us a young male walking in Washington where he gets plagued by his responsibilities in the form of missed phone calls. However, it all turns out to be a flashback, as the next thing we see is Aidan walking around with a baseball bat on a street full of abandoned cars and dead bodies. His reaction to a sound further away shows he isn't just passing by, as he lures a group of zombies by using a car horn. While the trailer ends soon after, we can all imagine how it will end for them. All playable characters in the game will have their own skill trees, roles and play styles. Yet, the trailer doesn't tell us what Aidan's speciality is, although from the trailer we can tell he looks like a fighter who is great at melee combat.
The game is in developed by OVERKILL and Starbreeze Studios and the release is set for fall 2018. As the picture shows three more characters we might even get three other trailers which will tell their stories. If it happens we will keep you updated.
