Tower of Fantasy 2.0: All Info From the Preview Livestream

On October 13, the anime MMO Tower of Fantasy hosted its first preview Livestream for version 2.0, which presented the contents of the upcoming Vera expansion. We have summarized all the information from the stream for you!

When did the stream run? The stream aired on Twitch and YouTube on October 13, starting at 8:00 pm UTC. In the stream, the characters Lin, Ruby, Nemesis, and Mi-A took us through the content of version 2.0.

At 8:00 pm UTC, the stream started, and Chibi characters of Lin, Mi-A, and Nemesis led through the stream. They talked about Vera and divided the stream into six parts:

World and Story

The area "Vera" was the dominion of the Seventh District of Helgaard before the Cataclysm, but after the Cataclysm the contact with the main plane broke off. The rocky desert dominates the environment. The general climate is hot and dry. Due to the failure of the local "Vera Phantom Tower" after the Cataclysm, the space-time dimension cannot be calibrated on the main plane, nor can a reliable supply of original energy be ensured.

The intensity of original energy radiation in the area is visibly decreasing. This does not include some heavily contaminated areas. Although the surface environment is largely suitable for human activity, the majority of the people of Vera live in "Mirroria

Map Display

Vera is a large desert where there are many dangers. But a few oases can also be found. A great danger here comes from sandstorms and quicksand, from which you can escape only with difficulty. New enemies roam the desert, and 2 world bosses are among them. Magma, a giant fire lizard, and Rudolph, a mechanical deer.

Miroria is the only city in Vera and started out as a simple shelter. Now it is a radiant cyberpunk-style city divided into different districts:

• Reception
• Mirafleur Hotel area
• Oasis Club
• Department of Science and Technology
• Vera Tower of Fantasy
• Mirroria Security Force
• Asset Management Center

By train and cab, you can quickly get through the different districts. If you fall from the levels, you die and respawn.

The city is actually much larger. However, with the launch of 2.0, only a small part is available.

Character Display

Through the third act, Ruby has led and introduced new characters that come into play with 2.0:

• Lin: Brings a new element to the game with Aberration, which adapts to your team. She carries a large metal fan, the Shadow Weaver, as her weapon.
• Ruby: Possesses the element Fire and will likely be the first character included in the 2.0 banner. With Sparky as her weapon, she deals out some serious damage.
• Saki Fuwa: Equipped with 2 katanas and the ice element, she is one of the tanks in Tower of Fantasy and has a particularly high Shatter value of 13.90.

Many details about the characters have not been revealed yet.

New Modes

Of course, in 2.0 and Vera there are new game modes to keep you happy. Thus there are:

• Gachapon Machines: There are Gachapon machines all over the city where you can try your luck against Mira in drawing SSR matrices, accessories, or mount parts.
• NPC Missions: In addition to regular side missions, you can also simply make small talk with the inhabitants of Mirroria and they will entrust you with a task. At the end you will receive Mira, the new currency from Mirroria.
• Instance bosses:
  • Puppet-Singer - Drops legendary volt/physical equipment.
  • Abyssant Weaver - Summons doppelgangers that must be killed first. Fire/Frost Equipment Drop.
• Grayspace: A place full of dangerous enemies, but also full of treasure. Can be accessed via Grayspace cracks in Vera.
• 8-Player Co-op Raids: New raids including hard mode.

Game Music:

The music in Tower of Fantasy is played by an orchestra. The Vera Desert Music comes from The Budapest Art Orchestra and creates an oriental atmosphere in the desert.

During version 2.0 you can expect many events and corresponding rewards. If you participate in all events, you can expect the following:

• 67 Gold Nucleus
• 500 Dark Crystals
• 1 SSR weapon of your choice
• 1 SSR relic of your choice
• 13 limited items such as skins, accessories, profile frames, etc.
• Red Nucleus
• Mira
• Golden Energy Crystal Dust
