One of what feels like 1,000 main and side quests in Baldur's Gate 3 is entitled “Find Mol”. We have already managed to find the Tiefling child and will show you in this guide how to solve the quest without any problems.

You can meet Mol in the first act but outside this quest. As part of the side quest “Find your belongings”, you have the first opportunity to talk to Mol.
Your search for Mol begins in Act 2 as soon as you have spoken to the Tiefling children. However, you will only have access to the quest if you have also completed the “Save the Refugees” quest in Act 1. Once you have done this, Mol will be abducted either during the quest “Resolve the Abduction” or “Capture Isobel the Selûnite Cleric” at the Last Light Inn.
Mol is kidnapped without you being able to do anything about it.
Talk to the Tieflings afterward and promise them to bring Mol back. This will add the quest “Find Mol” to your diary.
Even though many hints will lead you to Moonrise Towers, you won't find Mol there. You won't be able to find Mol anywhere in Act 2, as the solution to the quest is only anchored in Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3. To find the Tiefling child, you have to go to the Lower City and enter the Guild Hall. There are several ways to reach it.
You can find Mol in the guildhall.
The easiest way is to head west to the Baldur's Mouth newspaper company and from there south down the street. Continue east until you run into a gang. Here you can either fight or prove your persuasion skills. Depending on your choice, you will then have to look inside the gang's building to find the guild ring required for the quest. However, the lock on the door must first be picked.
The ring can be found in a locked chest in the room to the left of the entrance. Pick this lock too and take the ring. Once you have collected it, leave the house again through the main entrance and use the ring on the wall opposite the front door. A secret passage will open up and lead you into the guild hall.
Run into the corridors and head northwest. Mol is not far away. Talk to her and find out that she has now built up a criminal career in Baldur's Gate. Now you can testify that Mol is safe. You have now successfully completed the quest “Find Mol” in Baldur's Gate 3.
