Fuel is an important resource that can bring many benefits if used correctly. It can be obtained by completing quests and missions. Players argue about how to use fuel as there are several opinions on this. We want to show you the best way to use Fuel in Honkai: Star Rail.

Players can spend fuel from the very beginning of the game. For example, to start a dungeon-run. But you need to be smart about spending it because if you spend fuel too early, you will regret it later.

How to Use Fuel Efficiently in Honkai: Star Rail

Honkai Star Rail: Fuel

Fuel is mainly used to obtain relics. You can spend it at any time, but keep in mind that you can only get a 5-star relic after reaching Trailblaze level 40.

In fact, you can use fuel earlier, but not effectively. For example, if it is Sunday and you are level 39, you should use a little fuel to get level 40. This way, you will get better rewards the next day. There are already a lot of players who made a mistake and used all their fuel at level 35. Most likely, they did not get the relics they wanted, and the game will not be as interesting to them.

You don't have a chance of getting 5-star relic drops until level 40. As soon as you get a chance, instead of 4-star relics, you will use 5-star relics, so it's considered a waste to spend recharges/fuel farming 4-star ones. It is better to focus on leveling characters, lightcones, unlocking traces, etc. Maybe you want to spend fuel to reach level 40 and start farming relics faster, but it's still more profitable to wait a few days and level up without them.

It is recommended to reach level 50 of Trailblaze, as it gives you the opportunity to get gold-tier gear. But it depends on your patience, so if you don't have much of it, you can safely spend fuel after level 40 since it will also bring you some good rewards.

Honkai Star Rail: Character

As we said above, fuel consumption is much more efficient once you have reached at least Trailblaze level 40. So we want to show you how to collect Trailblaze EXP and reach this level as soon as possible. There are several ways to do this:

  • The first is Calyx challenges. In these challenges, you have to destroy waves of enemies and get 50 Trailblaze EXP for each one. In 18 hours, you can earn 900 Trailblaze EXP, as each wave costs 10 Trailblaze Power.
  • The second is the Daily Training objectives, which give from 200 to 1000 Trailblaze EXP.
  • The third is to complete missions. Most of them give at least 100 EXP.
  • And the last is Operation Briefing rewards. These achievements give 100 Trailblaze EXP each.

The most effective way is Calyx challenges. To get your Trailblaze EXP quickly, start an easy challenge with as many waves as possible. Then turn on 2x speed and auto-battle, and when you are done, click 'try again.'

We hope that the information we have provided will help you play more efficiently and you will achieve your in-game goals as soon as possible.
