If you get the high area damage, it would be way easier for you to deal with the crowds of small enemies and level up fast. Still, you can get the high level even without the perfectly-made build.
Complete Main Story
It might sound strange, but one of the best ways to level up in Diablo 4 is to finish the main storyline. It lets you get a high level and quickly brings you to new points to farm experience.
During the game’s beta, we saw that the game has tons of storyline quests that can be used to gain EXP and other rewards. Unlike in other RPGs, these quests in Diablo 4 are pretty exciting. Moreover, Diablo 4 will get even more quests with the official release, which makes this way even better.
Participate in Events and Absolving Dungeons
Another good source of experience in Diablo 4 are Zone Events. Most of these events are rushes of powerful enemies who guarantee you significant experience after killing them. The more enemies you kill, the better rewards you will get.

You can make various potions at the alchemist in every town for resources, which will buff you for 30 minutes. Each potion also offers a 5% EXP bonus, which you should have permanently active, especially in dungeons.
Increase Game Difficulty
You can increase the difficulty level to reach the best exp gain in Diablo 4. As the game is in beta release, it has only two difficulty levels: Base and Veteran. Just choose Veteran, and you will get 20% more experience. Still, it makes the game more complex, which might be unsuitable for beginners.
