Seaweed is an inconspicuous but very important resource in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In this guide, we'll show you how to find seaweed and what tips and tricks you can use to improve your yield.
What it's about: You'll need seaweed for a number of recipes. Whether it's for cooking sushi or other fish dishes, or as a building material to make fibers and ropes. In this short guide, we will show you some useful tips and tricks on how to find seaweed.
Seaweed is primarily a material that comes from water. That means you can find seaweed in all the waters of Disney Dreamlight Valley. To get materials from lakes, rivers, or the ocean, you first need your fishing rod, which you get from Goofy right at the beginning of the game.
Now you might wonder why you could only fish for fish and seafood until now. Then you were probably a damn good fisherman until the end and always fished only in the places in the water with the bubbles.
How to Find Seaweed: The first trick to finding seaweed at all is to cast your line next to the bubbles. So try to cast your lure "next to" them on purpose. There you need only one or two clicks, and you will catch either a simple fish or seaweed.
You can improve the whole thing by taking an expert fisherman with you. When your friendship with a villager reaches at least level 2, you can choose some kind of "profession" for him. Use a villager as a companion who specializes in fishing. Your companion will then sometimes assist you in fishing and give you extra loot once again. So you can get up to two seaweeds with one fishing.
