Gumbo is one of the many recipes in Dreamlight Valley, and it's also very easy to cook. You can cook it for various Dreamlight challenges, sell it or give it to your friends. When you sell it, it will bring you 1093 gold or you can use it to replenish 2226 energy. You will need five ingredients for the recipe, as it is a 5-star dish. However, some of them are difficult to get.

Okra: You unlock okras together with the Glade of Trust. You can buy okra or the seeds for it there at Goofy's stand. If you plant okras yourself, they will take 2 hours to grow and earn you 3 okras per plant.
Shrimp: Grab your fishing rod and head to Dazzle Beach. There you can fish for shrimp in the blue water bubbles.
Chili Pepper: Chili peppers add spice to the dish. Together with the Sunlit Plateau, you can unlock them. Again, you can either buy the chilies directly or the seeds. These then need 45 minutes to grow.
Tomato: You unlock tomatoes, like the shrimp, with the Dazzle Beach. Buy either the fruit itself or the seeds to plant tomatoes. These will grow within 25 minutes and earn you 3 tomatoes per plant.
Onion: No good dish should lack onions. That's why you need an onion for the gumbo. To do this, you must first unlock the Forest of Valor. There you can buy onions or onion seeds at Goofy's stall. Onion seeds take 1 hour and 15 minutes to grow.
Tip: If you choose between Wall-E, Maui, and Rémy at the beginning of Dream Castle, we recommend you choose Rémy first. Unlocking the restaurant will give you access to more ingredients.
