Escape From Tarkov starts the Chinese Lunar New Year with a gift and gives away some cool items to all players. We’ll tell you how to get the gift, how to activate it, and what items are inside.
What’s going on? On the night of January 21st – 22nd, the Chinese celebrate their new year, the Lunar New Year. In 2023, this is under the sign of the rabbit. To celebrate, Tarkov developer Battlestate Games is giving away a whole package full of weapons, resources and other items. Which items you can dust off and how — now.
How to get & activate the Lunar New Year gift in Escape From Tarkov.
What’s inside? Currently, in the Lunar New Year Gift you can dust off a weapon, its ammo and some consumables. You will also get some medicine for free:
- MP7 A1
- 2x MP7 40-round magazines
- 130x FMJ 5X ammo
- 1x IFAK
- Fuel Canister
- Aquamarine color
How to activate the gift? To activate the Lunar New Year gift in Tarkov, you need to log in to the developers’ website. Then click on your profile and scroll down a bit. Here you will find the 2022 Christmas gift at the current time and the Lunar New Year gift to the left.
To activate this, you now need to click on the blue paperclip and then start the game. Once in Escape From Tarkov, you’ll notice a new message in your inbox. “System” will hand you the contents of the gift. But be careful: make enough space in your stash beforehand, because if you reject the contents of the message, you won’t be able to claim them again.
