This guide will show you how to design your own furniture in Disney Dreamlight Valley to bring even more of your individuality and design preferences to the Valley.
This is what this quest is about: You've probably seen a few times while standing at the workbench and scrolling through its tabs, that there is white furniture with a brush on the top left in the furniture tab. You are able to make this furniture the way you want it, and we're going to show you how.
First you have to craft the white furniture with the brush in the top left corner, at the workbench, for which again you need materials. We will show you which pieces of furniture you can make with which materials.
Currently, you can create and decorate 15 pieces of furniture:

After you have built your furniture on a workbench, you can continue with designing it. To do this, open the build menu and select “Customize” and then “Add new”. You will now see all the furniture you have made so far. Select one of them and then click on Make, which will take you directly to the design menu.

Click on one of the colors that you can see at the bottom left. The camera will then show you which object or which part of the object is being edited.
Another menu will open, after clicking on one of the color squares. Click on the large window to select a texture, and on the small window to change the color.
If you click on the plus under layers 0/50 you can place a pattern or a sticker or something else on your object. Each sticker takes up one layer, which means that you can place about 50 stickers or patterns on your object.
You can then place the patterns with the mouse and enlarge or reduce them with the arrows that are displayed in the circle above.
Open the building menu and select the “Customize” tab. Choose the piece of furniture you want and then place it where you want.
