You've installed the update and are ready to get started in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Then get ready, because we're going to show you how to bring the Toy Story character Buzz from the “Missions to Uncharted Space” update to the Valley.
Here's the deal: Woody and Buzz came into the game with Disney Dreamlight Valley's new “Missions to Uncharted Space” update on December 06, 2022. Unlike Scar, who joined in the last update, you need to unlock their world in the Dream Castle and solve the following missions to bring the two characters to the village.
After you install the update and start the game, you will notice that you are supposed to talk to Merlin regarding his quest “Perform Miracles”. You definitely have to do this before unlocking Buzz and Woody's world.
This quest will give you elixirs that you can use to improve your tools. You'll also have to do this to solve Woody and Buzz's quests.
Once you have upgraded your tools, you can continue into the dream castle, where you will find the portal to the Toy Story World. It is located right next to the portal that led to Anna and Elsa. For 7,000 Dreamlight you can unlock it and go through it. Unlocking the portal also starts your first quest with Buzz: A Secret Mission in Unexplored Space.
Once you've gone through the portal, you'll find yourself shrunk to toy size in the Toy Story realm. Go to Buzz, who you'll find on a table in front of the bed, and talk to him.
The first quest you'll receive from Buzz is to bring him two batteries that are lying around the room.
The first battery can be found in front of the bedside cabinet, to the left of the bed, and under the window. The second battery you can see from your starting point in this world, through which you can also leave it. It is under the book, leaning against the green box. Bring the batteries to Buzz.
To save Woody, Buzz wants to repair and rebuild the highway so that the car can open the window. Your task now is to find 10 parts of the wooden coaster and bring them back to Buzz.
Buzz tells you that the highway, through the magically growing cacti acquires the height it needs so that the car, hits the window. You have to collect a total of five cacti, each of which has a different color, but otherwise looks the same.
Once you have collected the cacti, place them under the highway. The appropriate places will be indicated by a glitter. With the help of your improved watering can, you now water the cacti so that they grow and the highway gains height. Afterward, talk to Buzz again.
Buzz will give you the toy car, which you now have to put on the track. Use the ladder in front of the oven to reach the height that the car needs to start. An animation will then start, showing that the window has been opened.
Talk to Woody, who you can find on the side table of the bed under the window, and then talk to Buzz one more time. Buzz will give you your next task, in which you have to photograph the pictures marked with a star. There are four pictures in total that you have to find. You can find them here:
After you have found all the pictures, talk to Buzz, who will now give you the task of placing his mobile home in the Valley. So go back to the Valley, open the Build menu, and place the RV where you want it to be. To build it, so Buzz can get to the Valley, you need 10,000 coins.
Once you have built the RV, welcome Buzz to the Valley.
