If you go up the path to the right, you will get to the sign where you will receive the instruction that you need Root Beer. In addition, you will receive the information that the recipe and the first ingredients can be found in a chest in the warehouse.
You can reach the warehouse by returning to the fork where you previously chose the right path. Now follow the left path and find yourself right in the warehouse. Open the chest located in the warehouse, and you'll get the Root Beer recipe, crackling candies, and the first ingredient: ginger.

Since you already have ginger in your inventory, let's start by finding vanilla.
Vanilla: Vanilla can be found as a plant on the Sunlit Plateau, where you can easily pick it.
