Once you've deepened your friendship with Remy in Disney’s Dreamlight Valley, Remy's final quest “Unknown Flavor” will be unlocked, in which he is asking for your help in finding the recipe for a magical dessert that he has forgotten.
This is the quest: Remy is trying to remember a very special dessert recipe that he used to love but has forgotten. You're supposed to help him find the recipe again by asking other characters for help and traveling the entire map.
How to unlock the Quest: Reach friendship level 10 with Remy and unlock the Sunlit Plateau. Then talk to Remy.
To start your quest, you must find Merlin and talk to him. He will ask you to go to his house, which is located in the Peaceful Meadow, where you should look for his notes.
After arriving at his house, you can find Merlin's notes on his bookshelf. You recognize the notes by the golden glitter that sparkles in front of one of the shelves on the wall in the back. Interact with this glitter and collect the notes, which will give you a quest notification that you have to make 3x Purified Night Shards now.
You can make Purified Night Shards at your crafting station by mixing Dream Shards and Night Shards.
Once you have made 3x purified night shards, you need to turn them into a powder, which Wall-E can do. Find the little robot, hand him the shards and let him pulverize them. After he hands you the powder, a quest notification will appear telling you your new task, for which you need to find 15x snowballs.
How to find snowballs: First, travel to the Frosted Heights biome, where you'll find frozen blocks of ice and break them with your magic pickaxe, which allows you to harvest the snowballs.
Wall-E
Once you have collected the 15x snowballs, you will receive a new quest notification with the task of making an ice slush at your crafting station. Get Ice Slush by mixing snowballs with the purified night shard powder you got from Wall-E. After successfully making it, take the ice slush to Remy and give it to him.
If you've done everything successfully, you'll get the vanilla ice cream recipe, which you'll find in your inventory from now on. Also, you can now purchase the slush ice cream at any time for 150-Star Coins at Remy's Pantry.

Cook the vanilla ice cream and bring it to Remy to complete the quest. As a reward, you will receive Remy's “Best Chef” shelf, from Remy.
