When you improve your friendship with Goofy, in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll get the “The Mysterious Wreck” quest, which unlocks Arielle at the very end.
What this Quest is about: Goofy wants to repair the wreck that is on the island, which you can find at the beach. You should help him, of course, by getting the materials to repair it.
In the first task, you'll have to bring Goofy the paddle that is lying next to the wreck on the island. To do this, you'll have to go to the Dazzling Beach and cross the shallow water to the nearby island. Behind the pillar that is lying in the black fog, you will find the wreck, including the paddle. Collect it and bring it back to Goofy.
After you brought the paddle to Goofy, you will receive the next task: collect materials for repairing the wreck. So now you have to collect the following materials together:
Rope: You can craft one rope out of 5x fibers, which are made from one alga each. Algae can be fished by casting your fishing rod next to the given circles—a resident with fishing specialization can speed up fishing for algae.
Iron ingots: For an iron ingot, you need 5x iron ore. You can get iron ores from mining gems in the Forest of Valor and the Glade of Trust. You may also be able to obtain iron from mining in the Frosted Heights, the Sunlit Plateau, and the Forgotten Lands. It is best to take a resident who specializes in mining to get as many as possible.
Clay: You can get clay by digging in the following biomes (it's best to take a resident who specializes in digging to gather clay faster):
Hardwood: You can easily collect hardwood from the ground in the following biomes:
After you have collected all the materials, go to Goofy, whereupon you will receive another quest. Now you should make a raft repair kit. You can craft it on any workbench.
Once you have finished it, talk to Goofy again. Together with him, go to the wreck, which you can interact with to repair it. Once it's repaired, talk to Goofy to complete the quest.
Now that you have repaired the raft, you can use it to sail to a small island, where you will meet Arielle. She will then give you the task of placing her house on the Dazzling Beach, which will bring her to the Valley.
