You can unlock Simba's final quest “The Dreamlight Grove” by reaching friendship level 10 with him in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Our guide will show you how to successfully complete his last friendship quest.

This is what Simba's final quest is about: Simba believes that he can plant more Dreamlight trees in the Valley with the help of the Dreamlight fruit. But since he can't do it on his own, he asks for your help.

The Dreamlight Grove: Harvest the Dreamlight Fruit

Talk to Simba to start the “The Dreamlight Grove” quest. Simba tells you that his memories are coming back through the Dreamlight tree, and that he remembers that there was more than just one Dreamlight tree in the Valley. He wants to use the Dreamlight fruit to grow more trees in the Valley. Unfortunately, he crushes the Dreamlight fruit every time he tries to harvest it, so he asks you to pick it for him.

Author's Note: If you grow the tree through a time jump, you will have to keep making time jumps that will take you to a time after the tree grew in order to harvest the Dreamlight fruit.

After you give Simba the Dreamlight fruit you picked, he remembers that you and Remy used this fruit in various recipes, but also that Mother Gothel used to pick the fruit. Inconveniently, he doesn't remember if the fruit helps grow more Dreamlight trees in the Valley.

Fertilizer for the Dreamlight Tree in Dreamlight Valley

In the conversation with Mother Gothel, she explains to you how to create the fertilizer for the Dreamlight tree that you need to grow more trees. She doesn't give you more information at first but tells you that she will explain the rest to Simba.

For the fertilizer of the Dreamlight tree, you need the following ingredients, respectively materials:

  • 5 x Vitalys Crystals
    • Can be mined in the Vitalys Mines of the sunlit plateau.
  • 2 x Purified Night Shards
    • Made from dream shards and night shards on a workbench.
  • 1 x Water of the Sunlit Plateau
    • Look for a glittering dot on the bank of the river of the sunlit plateau. You can interact with it and collect the water.
  • 3 x Dreamlight Fruit
    • Obtained from the planted Dreamlight tree on the sunlit plateau.
  • 1 x Empty Vial
    • Make it out of glass on a workbench.

You can then craft the fertilizer for the Dreamlight tree on a workbench and then use it on your watering can from your inventory. Then talk to Simba again to find out what happens next.

Water Flowers to Plant More Dreamlight Trees

Simba tells you what Mother Gothel told him. Namely, you should choose a place where you want to plant a Dreamlight tree and then water the flowers there because the roots of the tree are connected to the well of the main square. As a result, they extend all over the Valley but need special fertilizer to get water and grow. You decide to water flowers with the fertilizer in the following biomes, or parts of the Valley, to test whether Mother Gothel was right. Water five flowers in each of these biomes:

  • Forgotten Lands
  • Frosted Heights
  • Glade of Trust

After watering the flowers, talk to Simba one more time and follow him to the Dreamlight tree on the sunlit plateau, where you talk to him one more time. Afterward, Simba wants to tell Nala about your deeds. Listen to their conversation and talk to Simba one last time to complete the quest.
